MARLOW MOSS

Marlow Moss : British artist ( 1889-1958), an inspiring representative of constructivist art. A queer, female artist who rebelled against traditional notions of art and gender.

One of her greatest invention was the double line, a compositional element of two thin parallel lines which she started using in her paintings.

Like so many women, Moss has been written out of art history. Her work is now being re-examined by a new generation of artists and art historians who consider her valuable contribution to modern art.

Our collection is a humble homage to this amazing artist.
